Elliphant is a Swedish pop singer, rapper and songwriter. Elliphant was diagnosed with ADD and dyslexia, where a trip to India changed her world image and grounded in a new life where travels abroad became an important inspiration for her music.
She has turned her dyslexia into her own personal style with deliberately free spelling and not infrequently provocative, outspoken lyrics or innovative ambiguity, as in, for example, the song "Love Me Badder". The name Elliphant is partly related to her great interest in animals and nature and their rights.
Elliphant has toured internationally with her music and has collaborated with artists such as Skrillex, Adam Kanayama, Major Lazer, Eboi and Ras Fraser Jr. She was also a supporting act for Charli XCX on her North American tour in 2014.
Spending time at Värmeverket close to her home, Elliphant was inspired and supported to create new music. She will perform a wild set with rowdy old tunes at SCOPES, mixed with new material from her upcoming release “Ginny pig style”.
